  • Instructions for Bedazzling:

    • Prepare the Gems:

      Open the gem bag(s) and pour a small amount of gems into each gem tray, leaving part of the tray bottom visible—this will make it easier to pick up the gems. For best results, give the trays a couple of light shakes to help the gems flip with flat backs down.

    • Prepare the Glue:

      Remove both caps from the glue tube. Use the pointed end of the first cap to puncture the seal on the glue opening. Glue may come out quickly, so be prepared to recap promptly to prevent any spillage.

    • Apply the Glue:

      Apply a thin, steady line of glue to the area where you want to place your gems, using light pressure. TIP: For clean edges, outline prominent features of your item first, like the edges of a compact or the bottom of a lip gloss tube. Avoid excess pressure to prevent too much glue from covering the dotting pen tip, as this can make placement more difficult.

    • Place the Gems:

      Remove the cap from the wax side of the dotting tool. With light pressure, pick up a gem by its shiny side and carefully place it onto the glue line. If a gem doesn’t stick right away, allow the glue a moment to get tacky or add a little more if it has dried. For any adjustments, flip the dotting tool to the narrow end and gently nudge the gem into place. Pressing too hard with the wax side may dull it, making it harder to pick up gems.

    • Complete the Project:

      Continue applying glue and placing gems until your makeup item is fully decorated. Allow the glue to dry completely before handling the item to ensure long-lasting sparkle.
