  • Instructions for Bedazzling:

    1. Prepare the Gems:

    • Open the orange gem bag and pour a small amount of gems into the first gem tray. Ensure that some of the bottom of the gem tray is still visible; this will make it easier to pick up the gems. Repeat this process with the black gems, pouring them into the second gem tray. To help most of the gems flip to the correct side (flat backs facing down), give the trays a couple of light shakes.

    2. Prepare the Glue:

    • Remove both caps from the glue tube. Use the pointed end of the first cap to puncture the seal on the glue opening. Be cautious, as glue might come out quickly. Be ready to quickly replace the caps to prevent any glue spillage.

    3. Apply the Glue:

    • Apply a steady line of glue to the area where you want to place your gems, using light pressure. TIP: To create clean lines around your product, outline significant features first, such as the top opening, eyes, nose, mouth, and flat bottom. Avoid using too much pressure, as excess glue can be difficult to work with and may cover the tip of your dotting pen, making it less effective.

    4. Place the Gems:

    • Remove the cap from the wax side of the dotting tool. Using light pressure, pick up a gem by its shiny side and carefully place it onto the glue line. If the gem doesn’t stick as desired, the glue may need a few more moments to become tacky, or you may need to apply more glue if it has dried. To reposition a gem, flip your dotting tool to the narrow end and gently push the gem into place. Pressing too hard with the wax side can dull the wax, making it harder to pick up gems.

    5. Complete the Project:

    • Continue applying glue and placing gems until your product is fully decorated. Once you’re finished, allow the glue to dry completely before handling the product.
